IDP Education Pty Ltd (IDP) is a professional, international
development project and program management company, part owned by
38 Australian universities. We have been delivering customised and
sustainable development project activities for over 35 years,
mainly in South East Asia and the Pacific, but also in Africa, the
Middle East, Eastern Europe and Central Asia. IDP designs and
manages development projects and sponsored training programs
including scholarships and short-term training.
Our prime focus is education and training. We undertake
development projects on behalf of host governments in developing
countries and funding agencies such as the World Bank, the Asian
Development Bank and the Australian Agency for International
Development (AusAID). IDP also manages projects on behalf of
governments in areas such as technical education and short course
development to meet their training needs.
We are in Indonesia, building the human resource capacity in
targeted areas through development scholarships. In Qatar, we are
assisting the oil and gas industry with their human resource
development needs through sponsored training in the Australian
education system.
Our development expertise
IDP works with governments, the corporate sector, and both
bilateral and multilateral aid donors such as the Australian Agency
for International Development (AusAID).
We can oversee every stage of a development initiative from
identifying needs and planning how to meet those needs, to
recruiting the best people, reporting on outcomes and providing
follow-up advice and support.
We take pride in developing approaches and methodologies that
are sensitive to the rights of the individual and which incorporate
fair and equitable outcomes for disadvantaged groups such as women
and children.
